1. What we do

Ghar Jagga Khoj Nepal is a platform where people can find houses and land for sale in Nepal, and where owners can list their property for sale. We connect buyers and owners. Unless we say so in writing, we are not a party to any sale agreement.

2. Listings and the “Verified” badge

• Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We may edit, refuse or remove any listing.
• The green Verified badge means our team has checked the ownership papers (lalpurja) and visited the property. It is not a legal guarantee.
• Listings marked Sample are demonstrations of how the site works and are not real offers.
• Prices, sizes and details are provided by owners. Always confirm them yourself before making any decision.

3. Stay safe

• Never pay a deposit (bainā) before seeing the property and checking the lalpurja, the trace map (naksa) and any loans or disputes at the Land Revenue Office (Malpot).
• Pay through a bank, never in cash to a middleman. Ask a lawyer to check the agreement.
• We will never ask you to pay money to see a property.

4. Posting a property

By posting, you confirm you are the owner or have the owner’s permission, that the information and photos are true, and that you have the right to share the photos. You allow us to show the listing and photos on our website, app and social media.

5. Privacy

• What we collect: the name, phone number, email and message you send in our forms, and the property details and photos you post.
• Why: only to answer your enquiry, check and publish listings, and connect buyers with owners.
• Owners’ phone numbers are not shown publicly. Buyers contact owners through us.
• We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers. Your saved properties and language choice are stored only on your own device.
• To have your data or listing removed, contact us using the details on the Contact page.
